Intense Pulsed Light produces high-intensity light in short periods. The emitted light is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle and converted into thermal energy, which destroys the hair by cauterizing connected vessels. Hair falls out naturally and stops growing back.

Since different individuals have various pigments, the flash lamp produces a multitude of wavelengths to target diverse pigments in one pulse. When the selected magnetic pulse acts on the skin, follicles in the growth phase absorb energy, naturally aging and shedding hair. Pigment granules are eventually cleared via metabolism.

Pulses of filtered light penetrate the epidermis to target the dermis layer containing melanin and haemoglobin. The affected cells are naturally cleared by the lymphatic system. E-light integrates IPL pulse light with radio frequency treatment. Following light pyrolysis theory, intense pulsed light is targeted directly at the dermis, allowing lesions to selectively absorb light energy without harming surrounding tissue. Unlike standard IPL, E-light stimulates deep skin collagen, rearranges elastic fibers, enhances vascular tissue, smooths wrinkles, and contracts pores under comparable power conditions.
